Soon, Android WhatsApp users can link their iPads

Webdesk: WhatsApp is working on a new update that would let users link an iPad as a partner device.

The app-tracking website says that the new update, which called “iPad support — linked device,” not yet ready for beta users.

In a future update, this new tool will let Android users link an iPad to their WhatsApp account.

Before, the instant messaging app said that users could add another iOS device to a current WhatsApp account. Up to four gadgets could linked without affecting privacy or security.

In the most recent update, WhatsApp is working on making it work with the iPad as a new gadget that can be linked.

In the picture above, you can see that you can finally link your iPad to your Android WhatsApp account.

“Since WhatsApp just released companion mode on iOS (and it’s slowly rolling out to some accounts), we can assume that the next step is to make the app work with iPad. “The fact that WhatsApp is working on making the app work with iPads could mean that the app will be available to the public soon,” said a WhatsApp watcher.
