LAHORE: Days after launching the Istektam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), president Jahangir Tareen went for the UK on Sunday amid rumors that he will meet with PML-N leaders including Nawaz Sharif.
While, Sources say the party chief will meet with abroad Pakistanis and get a medical checkup in the UK for over a week.
Moreover, After rumors of its formation, some Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) defectors and Imran Khan allies joined the party, including:

Ex-Sindh governor Imran Ismail
Ex-health minister Amir Kiani
Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas
Ex-federal minister Mahmood Molvi
Ex-SAPM Firdous Ashiq Awan
Ex-federal minister Ali Zaidi
Ex-provincial minister Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan
Former provincial assembly member Nauman Langrial Tareen said IPP would seek to build the country, not replace the PTI.
He regretted that his new comrades failed to implement the PTI program and disappointed the public despite his efforts.
While, The IPP president was certain that more politicians will join the party in the coming days and that the party would work to fix the nation’s economic problems and divisions.
Moreover, On June 8, Tareen formed his own party, declaring he joined politics to help the country.
Afterward, PTI defectors who left Khan after the May 9 mayhem have joined Tareen.
While, The PTI chairman was arrested at the Islamabad High Court on May 9. The General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and Lahore Corp Commander’s home were vandalized during practically nationwide rioting after his detention.
Since then, numerous PTI leaders have left the party and declared their political retirement at news conferences.
