LAHORE: Federal Minister Javed Latif wants timely elections.

“We demand that everyone given a level playing field for the elections”. He stated during a press conference at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Model Town office on Sunday.

“We have no deal with anyone; the deal always with the people,” he stated, insisting PML-N run on its own platform.

Javed added that Pakistan must fully informed to stabilize.

He said the country wanted to know the definition of a terrorist and a politician, and while the PML-N not in favor of banning any political party or leader, those who committed terrorism not spared.

“Everyone involved in May 9 and 10 should punished,” Latif said.

He urged that Nawaz Sharif brought in to demonstrate mercy to Pakistan and reveal all those engaged in the May 9 and 10 incidents.

During the presser, the federal minister said the judiciary should listen to the mother of deceased Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif.

A murderer is a murderer. “All were guilty and should be punished,” Latif remarked.

Last October, Kenyan police shot Sharif in a “mistaken identity” case as he returned to Nairobi from Magadi Town.

Sharif’s mother asked the Supreme Court to include the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and others in the murder inquiry on June 9.
