Islamabad: Rana Sanaullah, the Interior Minister, said on Friday that Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), never again seen as a major player in national politics, which sounds like he’s kicked out.
Since a no-confidence vote forced Khan out of office in April of last year, he has charged with everything from terrorism to murder. However, he was able to fight back against the government.
But after the May 9 riots many leaders left the PTI as a result.
“He is a bad guy. “He brought indecency into politics,” the minister told Shahzeb Khanzada of Geo News as he criticised the PTI leader for his attack on the ruling alliance.
Sanaullah said that PTI is living in a dream if it thinks that it has gained more votes since May 9.
“People have seen what they really look like. He is a “scourage” to the country because his only goal is to cause trouble in the country.
When the government started arresting PTI workers for allegedly involved in vandalism, the party called it political victimisation, and Khan vowed to win the next polls no matter what.
Sanaullah said that the PTI leader had made young people hate each other. “Now, everyone with a brain knows that he wants to cause trouble.”
