Karachi: In a thrilling development, a Japanese company has proposed launching a ferry service between Do Dorya and Port Qasim. As well as developing additional water sports facilities in Sindh.
In a meeting, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Yamaha Japan’s Senior General Manager for Central Asia and the Middle East, Yoshiyuki ITO, discussed the proposal.
Moreover, They discussed developing water sports facilities at various barrages and lakes in the province. Including initiating a ferry service from Do Darya to Port Qasim.
While, The chief minister stated that there was tremendous potential for the development of water sports facilities. These are at Keenjhar, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri Barrages in collaboration with Yamaha Pakistan. These facilities could established by the private sector.
The visiting Yamaha representative informed the CM that a ferry service could established for recreational and transportational purposes.
He further stated that their WaveRunners were the finest sports vehicles.
