News Editor 23 July, 2023
Rain

Karachi: The people who live there want it to rain hard because it has only rained lightly or moderately in short bursts over the past few days, and it hasn’t rained hard at all this rainy season.

After light rain fell in some parts of the city on Saturday night, the weather turned nice. Heavy rain and thunderstorms were on the way.

On Sunday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said it would rain and thunder in Karachi today. There could also be heavy rain in some parts of the city.

It said that the weather is likely to stay cloudy for the next 24 hours, and the rain is likely to last until Monday, July 24.

The Sindh and eastern parts of the country hit by strong monsoon currents, according to the latest weather report.

PMD also told people to be careful and keep an eye out when it rains.

According to the Met Office, the temperature dropped as low as 29.5°C, and there is currently 79% humidity in the air. It said that the temperature today could reach 36°C.
