Karachi: Two thieves were shot and killed by police in Korangi neighbourhood on Wednesday, and a police officer was hurt.

During the attack, one of the two robbers who died was hurt. He was caught and taken to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.

Korangi SSP Tariq Nawaz said that the thieves tried to rob a medical lab, but when they ran into the police, there was a shootout.

He said that one of the thieves was killed right away, and the other was caught hurt. But he died soon after because he had lost too much blood.

On social media, the film of the police encounter with the man was shared.

After the police caught up with the robbers, who had taken a few people hostage, there was a heavy exchange of gunfire between the thieves and the police. It looked like an action scene from a movie.

Before the police tried to talk with the robbers to get them to let the hostages go, they fired a few shots. But in the end, the robbers were killed when the cops shot them after talking didn’t work.

Police said that they found money, a motorbike and guns on the thieves. They also said that more probes are being done.
