Islamabad schools and colleges closed for two days

ISLAMABAD: The district government of the capital city, has said that schools, colleges, and offices will be closed on July 31 and August 1 (Monday and Tuesday).

In a notice, District Magistrate Irfan Nawaz Memon said that all schools, colleges, and universities will stay closed. It includes all the private and public sectors institutions.

The notice also said that all private businesses, all shops and markets, and all commercial banks will be stopped.

He Lifeng, China’s Vice Premier and a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, is going to Pakistan from July 30 to August 1. This news comes as he prepares to go there.

During the trip, Vice Premier Lifeng, will attend the 10th anniversary celebrations of the CPEC. He is also President Xi Jinping’s Special Envoy. He will meet with the president and the prime minister.
