London: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Parvez Butt would report the attack in London to the police today (Tuesday) and seek charges against the harassers.

On a London family vacation, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) fans harassed and heckled the former congressman.

Twitterati slammed the assaulters for tossing a bottle and cursing Butt.

The PML-N leader intends to sue.

Butt attacked with her son.

In another video, a mob member waving a PTI flag insulted Butt while her son plainly upset.

“Rude and unruly PTI people have stooped to the extent of assaulting me in front of my son in London, throwing bottles at me and hurling foul abuse at me,” Butt posted on Monday on X, formerly Twitter.

“Are these barbarians promoting or defaming Pakistan?”

Social media condemned the incident once the video went viral. Despite political frustrations, many users felt such activities were excessive.

Politicians and journalists denounced the incident on Twitter.

Last September, former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was heckled in a coffee cafe.

PTI supporters also mistreated former planning minister Ahsan Iqbal.
