In another video, a mob member waving a PTI flag insulted Butt while her son plainly upset.
“Rude and unruly PTI people have stooped to the extent of assaulting me in front of my son in London, throwing bottles at me and hurling foul abuse at me,” Butt posted on Monday on X, formerly Twitter.
“Are these barbarians promoting or defaming Pakistan?”
Social media condemned the incident once the video went viral. Despite political frustrations, many users felt such activities were excessive.
