Rawalpindi: The Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi bench, has decided against keeping Sara Sharif’s family members in jail so they can be questioned about her murder, which has gotten national and international attention.

On August 10, the body of Sara Sharif found in her family’s home in Woking, Surrey. After her body found, Surrey Police started looking for her father, Urfan Sharif, his partner, Beinash Batool, and his brother, Faisal Malik, all of whom had gone to Pakistan before her body found.

Initial results from the autopsy showed that the young girl had suffered “multiple and extensive injuries” over a long period of time. This made the investigation even more important.

During the search for Malik, the Jehlum Police picked up two of his brothers. After that, a petition against their arrest sent to the Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court.

The petitioners said that the police harassing them by asking Malik Irfan the same questions over and over again.

It said, “Malik Irfan moved to Pakistan from the UK, but no one knows anything about him.”

Interpol and the British police are working with Pakistani police. As well as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to find the people who ran away. Interpol has asked the Jhelum Police to question the family members.

Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan decided that the police could not question the accused’s father and brothers.

“The accused’s family members shouldn’t held for questioning,” he said.
