Heroin Hidden in Clothes Parcel Seized Before Shipment to UK

At Islamabad International Airport, 8.750 kilograms of heroin were recovered from a parcel containing clothes intended for shipment to the United Kingdom. According to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), the drugs were expertly concealed within the clothing.

Separately, 3.6 kg of heroin was found in a parcel at a courier office in Karachi, which was set to be sent to Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, in Quetta, 60 kg of hashish and 20 kg of heroin were recovered from an abandoned area near Kuchlak Bypass Road.

In another operation near the zero line in Torkham, 1.492 kg of ice (crystal meth) was seized, while in Lahore, 4 kg of ice was found in a car on Defence Road. A suspect was arrested, and legal action has been initiated under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
