The mysterious death of popular actress and model Humaira Asghar has taken a new twist as her decomposed body was recovered from her apartment in Defence Phase 6, Karachi. A postmortem was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, but due to the advanced state of decomposition, the cause of death has been reserved pending detailed reports.
Police discovered two mobile phones at the scene, which have been sent for forensic analysis. Surprisingly, her last call was traced back to October 2024, with no activity since then. Authorities suspect she may have used a third phone not yet found.
According to the SSP South, it’s too early to draw conclusions. A full search of her apartment will be conducted after court approval. If the postmortem reveals foul play, a case will be filed—preferably by the family. However, her father has refused to collect the body or pursue the case, in which case the state may register it officially.
CCTV footage shows no sign of her movement, nor any visitor to her flat. Friends from the showbiz industry have also remained silent, making the case even more puzzling. Investigations are ongoing, and the public will be informed of any developments.
