RAWALPINDI: In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Datakhel, North Waziristan, security forces killed six militants on Wednesday.
On March 8, the military’s media wing reported six terrorists dead in a fierce firefight.
Moreover, According to the statement the forces collected guns and ammo from the killed militants, who continued to attack security forces and civilians.
“Locals in the area welcomed the security forces’ response and voiced their entire support to eliminate terrorists from the area,” the statement said.
North Waziristan security forces killed one terrorist last week during an IBO. A gunfight killed the terrorist.
Afterwards, The ISPR recovered the terrorist’s weapons and ammo.
However, Pakistan’s civic and military authorities are unified against terrorists after months of terror assaults.
The National Apex Committee sought national consensus to end militancy.
