Islamabad: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), the leading lawyer regulator, offered mediation to parliamentary parties.

APC is to hold free, fair and transparent elections to all assemblies on a mutually agreed time frame”. Said a joint statement from PBC Vice Chairman Haroonur Rashid and Chairman Executive Committee Hassan Raza Pasha.
Meanwhile, The statement said the PBC and legal fraternity believed in the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law, independence of the judiciary, democracy and civil power through a democratic process, and always opposed undemocratic destabilisation.
Moreover, The council advised all legislative parties to overcome their conflicts. Through negotiation and address other key public issues like inflation, the rupee’s devaluation, and unemployment.
The lawyers’ group concluded that it had always pursued these goals and ensured the country’s constitutional democracy.
