Imran Khan: Government is not letting us run election campaign.

Lahore: Imran Khan said on Monday that the government was making it hard to run election campaigns in Punjab. Even though the elections are coming up soon. He said this was because the government was making problems with the environment for the elections.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had already said that the province’s elections would take place on April 30.

From his home in Zaman Park, Lahore, he spoke to his party workers and supporters via video link. He said that the authorities don’t want them to hold jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan.

The former prime minister, who was kicked out of office in April of last year, had announced a power show at Minar-e-Pakistan the day before. This was after March 18’s “high drama,” when chaos broke out at his home in Lahore and at the judicial complex in Islamabad, where he was appearing in the Toshakhana case.

The PTI leadership is waiting for permission to hold the public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan. They found out that the court will make a decision about it tomorrow (Tuesday), which is just 24 hours before the power show of the former ruling party.

Khan said that when the Punjab police came to his Zaman Park, they broke down the gate and walls of his house.

The head of the PTI also told his supporters not to take up arms. He said that the party didn’t want chaos in the country, but rather elections.

He also said that there are attempts to “split” the country.
