Ramadan 2023: Sindh changes school, college hours

Karachi: The Sindh’s education Department announced that all schools in the province will have different hours. Hours will be different during the holy month of Ramadan.

All public and private schools in Sindh will now open at 7:30 a.m. And stay open until noon, Monday through Thursday, and all day Saturday.

On the other hand, school will be open from 7:30 am to 11 am on Friday.

Office hours

On Monday, the federal government also told public offices when they would be open during the holy month.

In a notice, the Establishment Division said that the federal government’s public offices would be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Also, on Fridays, public offices run by the federal government would be open from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that there is a good chance that the crescent for Ramadan 2023 will be seen on March 22 in the evening (Wednesday).

The update was sent out by the Climate Data Processing Centre of the Met department. This means that the first day of Ramadan will probably start in Pakistan on Thursday, March 23.
