WASHINGTON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hired a new lobbying agency. It is to improve its image after accusing the US of overthrowing its government.
PTI USA contracted with Praia Consultants LLC, a Washington lobbying group. Contact is to promote “good relations with the United States and the Pakistani diaspora in the US”. According to documents released yesterday.

“During this agreement, the firm shall provide expert advice regarding the client’s relationship with the US government and institutions.

If both parties agree in writing by June 30, 2023, the arrangement will last six more months until January 31, 2024.
Moreover, Last year, the PTI hired Fenton/Arlook, a lobbying and PR agency, to distribute information to and brief journalists, place articles and broadcasts, arrange interviews with PTI representatives or supporters, advise on social media activities, and other PR services.
Fenton/Arlook cost $25,000/month.
