Zigazoo starts a platform for short videos for Gen Z

Webdesk: Zigazoo, an app for sharing short videos similar to TikTok, is establishing a platform to particularly target Generation Z.

The new app geared toward users aged 13 and up. Their current app for children stays available for Generation Alpha (aged 3-12).

Launched on March 25, Zigazoo is an invite-only service with a video thread-style platform. There is no commenting option underneath video uploads. People may alternatively respond to the video post with their own short video.

According to the corporation, the concept reduces nasty trolling on the network.

Zigazoo provides various safety features, including private accounts, human-in-the-loop moderation, and a positivity-promoting algorithm.

This new programme, unlike Zigazoo Kids, will not require parental permission or supervision, but it will utilise auto-moderation software.

In addition to searchable music and popular noises, the Gen Z app will allow users to create ‘vibe’ videos that others can respond to.

A select selection of creators, including the stars of the Netflix sitcom “That ’90s Show”. Popular TikTok developers Jack Wright, Alana Clements, and performers such as Ava Kolker, chosen for featured on the app.

Zigazoo will offer an assortment of content, including entertainment channels Creators attracted to the new app because to its toxic-free environment, which dominates numerous social media sites, particularly TikTok.

According to the app’s co-founder, Zak Ringelstein, “there’s a lot coming into view for everyone where perhaps a more critical eye should be used to social media, and there should be a place where individuals can go to feel good about themselves… We desire a more positive and less toxic social media, and I believe the time has come for this to occur. So, we are really excited about our launch.”
