Webdesk: Pakistani lawmaker Nabil Gabol criticized for his misogynistic and unpleasant podcast comments. Social media has erupted over the politician’s offensive comments.
Gabol discusses sexual abuse in one interview. The politician says, “If rape is imminent, just enjoy it.” When the host disputes it, he insists it’s a saying.
“If you’re so helpless that you can endure rape, then just enjoy it,” says Gabol again. “Otherwise, if you have shame, stand your ground and don’t endure it. We adapt. How’re you used? I disagree with your imposed belief. Stand firm and yell if forced. It’s fightable. What’s worst? You’ll jailed?
“Someone please tell me this politician’s name (the one being interviewed?) He’s from PPP,” tweeted the clip’s sharer. He’s the sickest. “Enjoy rape when it’s imminent,” he remarked. Sick mind. Rape would be legal if individuals like him made our laws. Never heard a filthier remark.”
Gabol asked Ayesha (Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja) for her contact information on another show.
In another video, he said that whereas Karachiites bottle up their emotions and discharge them in the lavatory, he “can simply get” anyone.
So, many Twitter users criticize him and PPP. Fatima Bhutto tweeted, “Utter filth. Nabil Gabol exposes Sindh’s government’s criminality. He mocks such brutality and has done nothing for Lyari or his constituents. Horrendous.”
