Webdesk: There is a debate going on right now about why Hindi movies aren’t doing well at the box office. Actor Salman Khan has given his opinion on the subject.
Salman says that Hindi movies are not doing well because they are making the wrong movies.
Khan, as reported by Indiatoday from a press conference, said: “I’ve been saying for a long time that our Hindi movies don’t do well. Galat picture banaoge to kaise chalegi? India is seen differently by filmmakers today than it was in the past. They think it is between Andheri and Colaba. I’ve met and talked to some filmmakers, and they are too cool. They make content like that. Hindustan, on the other hand, is very different. They start from where the train stations are to the east.”
He joked at the end, “I hope my words don’t come back to bite me. Bhari nahi padhna chaiye. No one should ask me what kind of movie I made. It comes out on April 21, and I hope everyone likes it.
The next movie by Salman Khan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is a commercial entertainer with a mix of comedy, romance, action, and drama. The movie was directed by Farhad Samji, and Pooja Hedge, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gilla, and Venkatesh were also in it.
