LAHORE: Pakistan Railways (PR) has decided to reintroduce the Shalimar Express Train between Lahore and Karachi in May 2023.
This decision made at a meeting on Saturday at the PR headquarters presided over by Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.
The minister went over the timeline for restoring and upgrading certain trains indicated by the PR administration.
While, The minister directed that the Karakoram Express and Pak Business Express to upgraded to match the Green Line train.
Moreover, Participants in the discussion discussed several options for making money. It is from railway land and lowering the assessment of the ML-1 project.
