Rawalpindi: In Balochistan’s Mach, security forces and militants exchanged fire, killing two terrorists and capturing another. Its claimed by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
According to reports, a sanitization operation based on intelligence has been going on since April 7. It is to stop a group of terrorists who are working in the Mach area, west of Sibi.
“The terrorists linked to attacks on civilians in the area. As well as to threatening coal mine owners to get money from them,” the statement said.
The ISPR also said that, according to reliable information, multiple ambushes set up along different routes in the area where terrorists moving around for the past two days.
So, it said, three terrorists stopped as they tried to get to their hiding place. When forces stoped them, they opened fire.
“During the subsequent exchange of fire, two terrorists sent to hell and one caught. A stash of weapons and ammunition also found,” the military’s media arm said.
It also said that an operation was going on in the area to catch their last remaining helpers.
The ISPR said, “The Pakistan Army, along with the rest of the country, still determined to stop attempts to hurt Balochistan’s peace, stability, and progress.”
