Rawalpindi: Pakistan military’s media wing said that both the COAS General Asim Munir and the commander of the PLA said it was important to keep peace and security in the area.
According to the ISPR, COAS Asim Munir went to the PLA Army Headquarters. The head of the army is in China for a four-day trip.
When the COAS arrived, he was given the guard of respect, and later he looked over the well-dressed group.
In his long talk with the PLA leader, General Asim Munir talked about the “regional security situation”. The ISPR said that both leaders also talked about improving cooperation between the two militaries.
Later, the army chief also saw a display of how well the PLA men could do their jobs.
Gen. Munir was impressed by how well the troops were trained and how professional they were.
The ISPR said that the army chief will meet with military leaders in China again to improve the long-standing relationship between the two forces.
