Webdesk: Due to a medical issue, Bonnie Raitt has had to change a number of tour dates. As well as cancel her appearance at Brandi Carlile’s Mothership Weekend next month.
The Grammy-winning singer said in a statement posted on Instagram that she has also put off her upcoming musical shows in Athens. Louisville, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh because she needs to have surgery.
“Unfortunately, this conflicts with our five May tour dates, so we are very sorry to have to cancel our show at @brandicarlilesmothershipwkd on May 14 and move our shows in Athens, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh. Please look at the information below for more details about the rescheduled appearances.”
“We are very sorry for this delay and the trouble it has caused. “It’s always sad to have to disappoint her fans. Her band, her crew, and our promoters, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control,” the statement said.
“Thank goodness, Bonnie’s in good hands,” says the sentence. She was really looking forward to these shows. We’re happy to start our 2023 tour again on June 1 in Dublin, Ireland.
