Islamabad: The Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang will come to Islamabad on Friday, May 5, for a two-day official visit. He is coming at the request of his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. They will hold a strategic dialogue, the Foreign Office said on Wednesday.
This would be the first official trip to Pakistan by the Chinese foreign minister since he took office.
The 4th round of the Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue will be led by both FM Bilawal and his counterpart from China.
The strategic dialogue is a planned way to talk about how the two countries work together in key areas.
The two sides will confirm that the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership is still going strong. As well as both sides will make a plan for Pakistan and China to work together in many different ways.
In July 2021, in Chengdu, China, the 3rd round of the Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue took place.
The Chinese foreign ministry said on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Qin Gang will go to India to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) on May 4 and 5 in Panaji, the capital of Goa.
At the meeting, Qin Gang and the foreign ministers of other SCO member states will talk about the international and regional situation as well as SCO cooperation in different areas, among other things, to get ready for the SCO summit this year.
