Webdesk: Prince Harry seemed to have a sad moment as his father, King Charles, walked by him in Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, during the Coronation service.
The Duke of Sussex flew all the way to the UK on May 5 to support his father, King Charles, at his historic coronation. However, he only allowed to sit in the third row of Westminster Abbey. But not allowed to take part in the Coronation Procession or appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Prince Harry stood in the third row and watched as his father left the Abbey after the religious service. Body language expert Darren Stanton said that Prince Harry looked “sad” at the time.
“He (Prince Harry) showed pride in his father (Charles), but when King Charles passed Harry on his way out of the Abbey during the procession, Harry’s face showed brief moments of sadness,” Stanton said, according to The Daily Record.
He also said, “It seemed like Harry felt homesick, too, even though he was on the outside looking in.”
“When Harry was sitting in the Abbey, he looked like he was looking for someone to comfort him and was a little out of step with everyone else. We saw him fix his sleeves to calm himself down, which is a clear sign of trying to calm down,” Stanton said.
