Webdesk: Tom Cruise doesn’t have a fear of heights, because he flew a fighter plane to the MTV award ceremony.
The megastar won the award for best performance in Top Gun: Maverick at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The Twitter account for the award show posted a picture of the Mission: Impossible star wearing sunglasses with a headset attached while he was on a plane.
As the trophy was put in the jet with him, the 60-year-old thanked his friends for voting for him.
“Thank you so much for this award,” he told them. “These films are for you. I love you. I love to make you laugh. There’s no better feeling than knowing how much you enjoy and value something.”
After getting praise for The Last Samurai, the actor added Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One to his resume. He called it a “wild ride.”
“I hope you have a great summer. Again, thank you for letting me make you laugh. It’s an honour to do so. Cruise says, “We’ll see you at the movies.”
