London: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N and said that Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial should have wished PTI. Chairman Imran Khan “good luck with the stolen Rs60 billion from the nation.”

Sharif spoke for the first time since Khan’s arrest and bail. He joked that the chief justice should have wished Khan luck. When he talked about the Rs60 billion corruption case related to the Al-Qadir Trust/UK National Crime Agency (NCA) £140 million case. It’s the first time Sharif had spoken since Khan’s arrest and bail.

Sharif said “The chief justice of the Supreme Court said its good to see Imran Khan. But he could have said, “Good luck to you, since you stole Rs60 billion from the country.”

The three-time prime minister also said, “The chief justice could have told Imran Khan to do well with his Rs60 billion.”

Nawaz Sharif said this in reference to the Al-Qadir Trust/UK NCA case, in which the PTI leader and his wife, Bushra Bibi, said to got kickbacks worth billions of rupees for legalizing Rs50 billion linked to a property tycoon’s settlement with the UK authorities. During the PTI government, the National Crime Agency in the UK took the money and sent it back to Pakistan.

The Deal

According to the deal, the money should gone to the Pakistan government account, but given to the businessman as part of his settlement with the court.

Sharif has criticized CJP Bandial for putting together benches and making decisions that favor Imran Khan. He has said that these things are “at the cost of the nation’s prosperity.”

He has also told the CJP to join Imran Khan’s PTI in a public way.

Friday, Maryam Nawaz told the chief justice that if he went out of his way to back Imran Khan, he should be ready for a political reaction.
