On May 15, the British Council will once again host Cambridge examinations.

Webdesk: The British Council said that all Cambridge tests in Pakistan will start up again on Monday, May 15.

The British Council said in a statement on Friday that exams will go on as normal all over the country, both in the morning and in the evening.

The choice made after a careful look at the situation in the country. As well as keeping in mind that they had a duty to make sure the candidates. Their parents, and staff safe in case something unexpected happened.

Uzma Yousuf, Country Director, Pakistan at Cambridge University Press and Assessment, and Amir Ramzan, Country Director, British Council, Pakistan, spoke to the Cambridge students. They said, “It was hard for the British Council to decide to cancel the tests on May 10, 11, and 12. Your safety and well-being more important than anything else. Which is why this choice was made.

“Our team is always keeping an eye on the situation, and we’ll keep you up to date as we learn more. Fully committed to making sure you can take your tests in a safe and secure place.”

After the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, the British Council canceled the exams. This led to protests all over the country.

In the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, however, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) released the former prime minister on bail for two weeks earlier today.
