Webdesk: James Gunn, the head of DC, has reacted to the growing rumors about who will play Superman: Legacy.
“To everyone who asked, I would never say who is or isn’t trying out for a part. That’s the actor’s business, and I wouldn’t tell anyone unless they did it first (like Glenn Howerton or Zachary Levi tried out for Star-Lord and were top picks). So far, only one person has CAST in Superman: Legacy, and it’s not any of the usual Superman characters, Gunn said in a tweet.
A story in The Hollywood Reporter said that David Corenswet is the top choice to play Clark Kent in Superman: Legacy. This has led to a lot of rumors.
Also, Nicholas Hoult considered for the role of Lex Luthor.
In the past, Gunn has often shot down theories about who would play the Kryptonian hero in a DC movie. These rumors included Luke Eisner from Tall Girl and Logan Lerman from Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
