Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry strongly condemned the May 9 violent protests. Which sparked by Imran Khan’s incarceration after sprinting to the Islamabad High Court to avoid re-arrest.
On May 9, NAB-ordered Rangers from Islamabad High Court (IHC) arrested Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The senior PTI leader and party spokesperson called the events “extremely shameful”.
The politician told journalists outside the IHC after midnight that Pakistan existed due of the Pakistan Army.
Fawad had scarcely moved from his car after getting bail from IHC a day earlier. When he saw anti-terrorist squad members approaching.
The former information minister sprinted from his car to the court to avoid arrest.
Despite his IHC commitment not to violate section 144 or demonstrate, the police arrested the PTI leader.
The court declared the detention of PTI leaders under Section 3 of the MPO “illegal”.
The politician discussed his military background in the media.

The PTI leader mourned the attack on the Corp Commander House and General Headquarters (GHQ) on the day of the pandemonium, saying that Pakistan and its military “obviously saddened” and crying blood.
As PTI spokesperson, these events were despicable. “After an inquiry, those involved in the incidents, whether PTI or not, should be punished,” he said.
Fawad said his party affiliated with Pakistan, which associated with its army. The military called May 9 events a “dark chapter” in history.
After hiding in the court all day, the politician told media late at night that he was “ready to get arrested” and departed.
