Webdesk: While promoting his new movie Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, actor Manoj Bajpayee talked about how nepotism hurt the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whom he called a “pure soul.”

Bajpayee told Aaj Tak about how much he loved Sushant and how close they became: “We really became close, and he had so much love for me.”

When asked about the politics in Bollywood, the veteran actor said, “There is always politics in the industry, but it gets dirtier as you climb the ladder of success.”

Bajpayee, who is 54 years old, talked about nepotism in the industry. He said that the powerful moguls of the industry will fight anyone who wants to go too far.

“He wanted to be famous, but there was too much competition. Whoever goes into the field to be a star will do their best to get that spot. But he couldn’t handle the same. I’ve learned that he had a pure heart and that he was still a kid at heart. He couldn’t figure out how to get what he wanted.”

On June 14, 2020, the actor who played MS Dhoni in “The Untold Story” was found dead in his flat. Fans were very upset. When the young star died too soon, it led to a serious discussion about nepotism in the Bollywood business.
