Webdesk: The Kerala Story, a controversial movie with Adah Sharma in the lead part, is the first movie about a woman to make more than INR 200 crore.
Sharma posted a picture to Instagram with the words “1st female film to cross net collection India 200 CR.”
India Today says that when the actor reached such a big goal, she wrote a note in which she talked about how she felt.
Sharma, who is 31 years old, wrote, “1st Female Film to cross net collection India 200 Cr, without Tamil Nadu & West Bengal.”
“The best things in life are things you didn’t expect, because you didn’t expect them. Thank you to the fans for making this happen.”
“The people who made #TheKeralaStory: Vipul sir, who took a huge risk by making this movie without any help from studios and for trusting that Shalini Unnikrishnan was the girl who played Bhavana Reddy in Commando.”
“Thank you, Sudipto sir, for sticking to his research for seven years despite all the odds, for being nice to everyone on set, and for keeping a good mood through all the bad weather and hard times.”
Before it came out, there was a lot of criticism of The Kerala Story. Some people liked the movie, but other people said it was just marketing.
