Webdesk: Three Pakistani design giants have collaborated to launch Pakistan’s first fashion museum. It will include a gala event and an exhibition exhibiting the country’s creative past.
The Pakistan Fashion Museum would house a fashion collection spanning the last 75 years. Said Frieha Altaf, Nabila Maqsood, and Fifi Haroon, who have long been linked with Pakistani fashion
In the winter/spring of 2023-2024, the event will be launched at a UNESCO World Heritage site in Pakistan.
“Frieha Altaf, Nabila, and Fifi Haroon are excited to announce The Pakistan Fashion Museum. The first of its kind in Pakistan. As well as The Muse Gala and exhibition, an annual event where designers and their celebrity muses will create a flight of unfettered fashion fancy,” the Instagram post said.
“Together, this venue and event will showcase Pakistan’s creative heritage, innovation. As well as style from the past 75 years while also forecasting Pakistani fashion’s future in the next 75!”
They stated in their launch video. “For over three decades, we have dedicated our lives to Pakistani fashion nationally and internationally.”
While, According to the release, they are “throwing two lifelines to Pakistani fashion.”
“Moreover, We want to be creative, innovative, and exciting.” We aim to host Pakistan’s first fashion gala, where our greatest designers will combine with muses and celebrities to create a platform for unbridled fashion fantasy.”
They also stated that they aim to introduce Pakistan fashion to the rest of the world “by introducing the first fashion museum in a Pakistani city, in a UNESCO World Heritage site.”
