Lil Wayne feeds WGA picketers outside Warner Bros

Webdesk: Lil Wayne is doing everything he can to help the Writer’s Guild of America strike against Hollywood. He recently sent a Fatburger truck to the picketers outside Warner Bros. studios.

For lunch, a Milli rapper sent a truck to the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California, while actor Greg Berlanti brought them food in the morning.

“Thanks, Lil Wayne, for sending a @Fatburger truck to the picket lines today and for having a turkey burger so I can keep this #StrikeBodSummer going! “Thanks, #WritersStrike #WGAStrong,” said a protester to the 40-year-old with a sign.

Snoop Dogg had also backed the writers’ strike in the past by saying that artists should stop using streaming services.

“[Artists] need to figure it out the same way writers are figuring it out,” Snoop said. “The writers are on strike because streaming makes it impossible for them to get paid. Because it’s not like the box office when it’s on the platform.

“I don’t know how in the hell you make money off of that crap. How can you get a billion hits and not get a million dollars? The biggest complaint about most artists is that we do big numbers… But the money doesn’t add up. “Where the **** is the money?”
