Aditya, who became famous with Aashiqui in 2013, has declared a new phase in his life.
Gumraah’s guitar-playing and singing videos got popular recently. Thus, he has taken time off from his busy schedule to focus on music.
“I play music and now I’m working on an album that I’ll hopefully be putting out soon,” he told News 18. Working on that in the studio. I’m taking music more seriously now.
“It was a possibility but it never happened,” he continued. Aashiqui 2 filmmaker Mohit Suri and I addressed that. He asked me to go into the studio and sing the songs like a singer because I was portraying a singer in the film.
The Ye Jawani Hai Deewani actor said, “So, I went into the studio and sang the songs of Aashiqui full-on no matter how bad I sounded.”
“I think they put me on mute on their side of the studio, but I felt like I was singing and got it out of my system.”
“I haven’t sung in any film but I’m sure it could happen sometime in the future,” said Aditya Roy Kapur. Hindi or English, singing is singing. “But I’d like to work on my Hindi singing if I want to do it properly for a film,” India Today says.
