Webdesk: Jane McDonald shone at The Lowry in Manchester, where the British Soap Awards were held on Saturday. The 60-year-old was picked to fill in for host Phillip Schofield at the last minute.
She was a wonderful sight to see in her long gold gown, which showed off her beautiful body to perfection. She wore the off-the-shoulder dress with shoes that went with it and glam hair and makeup.
Before, on the same night, she stood on the red carpet in a red velvet dress. She looked just as beautiful with her hair and make-up as she smiled at the cameras.
Just a few hours before, she practiced for the event at The Lowry in Salford, which was a last-minute job. Schofield’s replacement was found out after he shocked everyone by saying on This Morning that he had an affair with a much younger guy.
He also said that he had lied to ITV, his talent agency, and his friends and family. After he told the truth, he quit his job at ITV, which meant he could no longer be the host of the awards show.
