SUKKUR: Even though India and Pakistan are at war with each other, an Indian man went to Pakistan and married a girl in Sukkur.

Mahendar Kumar lives in Bombay, India. He and his family came to Sukkur to marry Sanjugata Kumari.

Mahendra and Sanjugata’s wedding took place in a local hall in Sukkur. Family members and members of the Hindu community were there to celebrate.

After all the paperwork done, Kumari and her husband will leave for India in a few days.

The bride’s parents said that the couple met on social media, became friends, and then decided to get married. Later, the families talked to each other through WhatsApp to finish planning the wedding.

Aishwar Lal Makeja of the Mukhi Hindu Panjaat Sukkur was at the wedding. He said that love knows no boundaries and wished the couple a happy life.
