Webdesk: On May 23, 2023, 20 years since Lara Dutta’s first movie, Andaaz. To mark the event, the actress has written a touching letter.
Lara Dutta’s first Bollywood movie was Raj Kanwar’s Andaaz, which came out in 2003 and also stars Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
To mark the occasion, the actress went on Instagram and shared photos from the film along with a lovely thank-you note.
“And just like that, 20 years have passed!!! What an amazing and thrilling trip!!! Thankful always! First of all, to the fans and viewers! To @suneeldarshan for giving me the chance to see my first movie and for being the kind, intelligent, and educated person that he is. Raj ji, you are the most patient teacher I’ve ever had. @akshaykumar, you will always be the most beautiful, most fun, and always there for me. Just for being himself!!!”
She then said this about her close friend and co-star Priyanka: “@priyankachopra we’ll always have each other’s backs! Always thankful for what the Indian film business has given me!”
Dutta is still a close friend of Priyanka, who made her Bollywood debut in April of the same year with the movie The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. The two met in London in 2021.
The star from “Citadel” had shared a picture of their meeting, in which Dutta’s daughter Saira was also present.
“We’ve been friends for 21 years and counting, and we can pick up where we left off at any time. Lara Dutta and the brightest star in her life. You are definitely your mother’s daughter, Saira. Adore you. These women are so loved. “And so many memories,” she wrote in the photo’s description.
