Webdesk: Real Madrid lost to FC Barcelona 3-0 in a friendly match on Saturday. Ousmane Dembele scored the first goal, and then Fermin Lopez and Ferran Torres scored two goals each in the second half.
Even though it was a pre-season game, AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, was packed to see a tough game on the pitch.
In the fourth minute, Oriel Romeu’s shot hit the crossbar, but Barca fans were already cheering after Dembele’s free kick goal.
In only five minutes, Real Madrid had a chance to tie the game when Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo handled the ball in the box, but Vinicius Junior’s penalty shot hit the bar.
Real were unable to score again when Vinicius hit the bar and Jude Bellingham’s header hit the post, even though the midfielder beat Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to the ball.
Real’s bad luck in the game kept going as Aurelien Tchouameni hit one off the bar.
Substitute In the 85th minute, Fermin Lopez made it 2-0 with a great shot from outside the box.
After the second goal, Vinicius ran in from the left and hit the bar again with a shot.
In the last second of the game, Ferran Torres ran onto a long pass from Lopez, lifted it over Thibaut Courtois, and put it in the empty net.
