Ch. Wajahat stopped backing Ch. Parvez Elahi

Ch Wajahat Hussain

LAHORE: On Monday, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain pulled his support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Parvez Elahi. He hoped that his older brother would welcome the returns.

Wajahat said that he and his son, Chaudhry Hussain Elahi, returned after talking with his older brother at Muslim League House.

“Perhaps those who made the cracks are filling them,” the ex-PTI head said, without naming anyone.

It’s important to note that Wajahat backed Elahi when he left the PML-Q and joined the PTI last year. Elahi was the chief minister of Punjab at the time.

Wajahat said at the time that he had never a part of the PTI. Or he had anything to do with it.

Wajahat said, “Everyone in Pakistan is angry about what happened on May 9”. He kept saying that he was ready to take back his words if they hurt someone’s feelings.

“It would be best for him not to blame anyone,” Wajahat said.

He said, “I think Chaudhry Shujaat will welcome the returnees.” This was a hint that he might join the PML-Q.

He hoped that one day his family would get back together.

Moonis Elahi, who is the son of the president of the PTI, said that his uncle was not in touch with them in response to Wajahat’s choice.

He told Geo News, “I don’t talk to Chaudhry Wajahat Hussai, and he doesn’t talk to me. I don’t know why he left PTI.” Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and I are big parts of the PTI, and we support Imran Khan.
