Islamabad: Monday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that there is a good chance that the crescent for Ramadan 2023 will be seen on March 22 in the evening (Wednesday).

The Climate Data Processing Centre of the Met department sent out the update. This means that the first day of Ramadan will probably start in Pakistan on Thursday, March 23.

During the Ramadan moon sighting time. Most of the country should have fair, partly cloudy weather, according to the climate record.

According to the chief meteorologist, Sardar Sarfaraz, the holy month of Ramadan was likely to start on March 23, so the first fast would probably be on Thursday.

He had also said that the sky should stay clear so that it would be easy to see the moon.

The PMD said last week that it was likely to rain at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Muslims all over Pakistan and the rest of the world celebrate Ramadan every year. It is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, and Muslims don’t eat or drink from dawn until dusk during this month.
