LAHORE: The court ordered that Rs10 billion worth of land and 22 bank accounts belonging to Pervaiz Elahi’s son Rasikh Elahi. As the Federal Investigation Agency made progress in the money laundering case.
The court also directed to freeze Moonis Elahi’s wife’s properties and bank accounts. As well as those of Qaiser Bhatti and Abid Bhatti, who worked as frontmen for the Chaudhry brothers.
The court has also told the co-accused to freeze 17,420 kanals of land worth Rs10 billion and 22 bank accounts.
They said that the Chaudhary family made billions of dollars worth of property through the corruption of the previous government. All of these properties have been frozen because of the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2010.
Based on the FIA’s request and strong proof, the court froze all of the properties and bank accounts. All of these properties and bank accounts will stay frozen until the investigation into these people’s money laundering is over.
