Webdesk: Meghan Markle’s father is requesting forgiveness from the Duchess of Sussex.
In a candid interview with Channel 7, a 78-year-old man implores his estranged daughter to reconcile with him.
Alongside his daughter Samantha, Thomas Markle expressed a desire to resolve his ‘differences’ with Meghan.
He stated, “I wish we could sit down and speak. I wish we could resolve our disagreements.”
Adding, “She cherished me. I am her saviour. Suddenly, I was kicked out.”
The interview occurs one week prior to King Charles III’s coronation, heightening the excitement among royalists.
Meghan Markle herself spoke to Oprah in 2021 about her father’s betrayal, noting how he collaborated with the media to create false headlines about her background and life.
“We called my father, and when I asked him about staging the photos, he replied, ‘Absolutely not’.
“I told him, ‘I just need you to tell me the truth, and if you do, we can help,’ but he was unable to do so.”
She added, “I genuinely cannot imagine intentionally inflicting pain on my child.” I can’t imagine it. Thus, I find it difficult to reconcile that.”
