Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Seek Urgent Hearing in £190 Million Case

Islamabad:
PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have submitted a request in the Islamabad High Court for the urgent scheduling of hearings on their appeals in the £190 million case.

Filed by their counsel Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, the request highlights that no progress was made in the last hearing, and that delays could lead to injustice.

The petition claims that Imran Khan, being a former Prime Minister, is facing politically motivated detention, and emphasizes that early hearings are essential to ensure fair justice. The couple were sentenced on January 17, but no hearing has taken place since then.

Their appeals have been allotted diary numbers 7115/24 (Imran Khan) and 7116/24 (Bushra Bibi).
