Rawalpindi: On Thursday, the military’s media wing reported that a motorcycle-riding suicide bomber killed at least nine soldiers on a military convoy in Jani Khel, Bannu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The attack injured five soldiers, including Naib Subedar Sanobar Ali, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.
“The area cordoned off by security forces and sanitised to eliminate terrorists,” it said.
The army’s information wing further pledged that the security forces “determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism”. As well as that the “sacrifices” of “brave soldiers further strengthen” the military.
