In “Woh Ladki Hai Kahan,” Taapsee Pannu says she’s delighted to play a humorous part.

Webdesk: Taapsee Pannu plays a comedic part for the first time in her next film Woh Ladki Hai Kahan, for which she is currently filming. She is primarily recognised for the comedic parts she played in prior films.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, she stated why she chose to play a comedic role: “Those who know me personally say they can’t believe I do intense material on screen, as it is the last thing they would expect from me. I am the type of person that enjoys making fun of myself. My natural way of breaking the ice with others is through comedy or humour. I thrive on humorous situations. So, my standards for performing humour or selecting comedy scripts were quite high.”

She continued, “The humour approach is definitely me. My sense of humour in the film closely resembles my sense of humour in real life. I’ve always like comedy that isn’t always in your face…which is sardonic and more dry. We rarely observe this in Hindi movies,”
