Webdesk: Ishaan Khatter is the half-brother of the well-known actor Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan says in a recent interview that Shahid has always been like a father to him and has even changed his diapers when he was young.
He said this about their relationship: “He is the person who keeps me grounded. He has a lot of roots and is very stable. And he is very deep. It’s a big part of what makes him who he is.”
He also said, “We joke about it a lot, and I call him “Baba Sasha,” but that’s who he is, and he’s the one person in my life who has always kept me in line. I think that because he changed my diapers, he felt like a parent to me. He was almost 15 when I was born, and he didn’t have an older brother or sister. So he was that brother or sister to me. In a lot of ways, he is the perfect older brother. But he is also young at heart, so our relationship is very different.”
He talked more about how he knew Misha and Zain, Shahid’s children. “Of course, who wouldn’t?” he said. So, I think they have a lot of fun with me. But these kids are very smart. They are way smarter than most people. Sometimes, especially with Misha, I can’t believe what we’re talking about. They are too smart for their age, it seems. I think what’s amazing is not just the IQ, but also when a child is emotionally smart enough to feel or sense what an adult is feeling and try to connect the dots. That’s just… weird to me.
