Webdesk: The Jonas Brothers’ release “The Album,” which sold 35,500 copies in the US during the week ending May 18, made it to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart for May 27. This is their fourth No. 1 album.
“Happiness Begins” (2019), “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times” (2009), and “A Little Bit Longer” (2008) were their other number ones.
“Random Access Memories” by Daft Punk is back on the chart at No. 2 after a 10th anniversary deluxe version came out.
The record sold a little more than 32,000 copies, which is a big jump of 4,452% from the week before. The reissue was released as a digital download, a CD, and a vinyl LP, and it had more songs than the original.
At No. 3, Lauren Daigle’s self-titled record came out. In its first week, it sold 20,000 copies. This is a big deal because her last song, “Look Up Child,” hit No. 2 on the charts.
In its second week on the list, Ed Sheeran’s record “(Subtract)” fell from No. 1 to No. 4, selling 20,000 fewer copies (a 76% drop).
