Webdesk: Succession fans went crazy when they found out that a very special person made a secret appearance in Sunday’s episode. In the episode, Logan Roy’s family members got together to go to his funeral.
There were a lot of people at the funeral, including a long list of his lovers who came to pay their respects. Fans noticed right away that one of Cox’s lovers was his real-life wife, Nicole Ansari-Cox.
Fans of the show posted about how excited they were on social media. One fan wrote, “OMG, so Sally-Anne is really Brian Cox’s wife!” “It’s brilliant that they put Brian Cox’s real wife in Succession as one of his side characters.”
Another fan wrote, “I’m crazy about the fact that Nicole Ansari, who is married to Brian Cox, is playing Sally-Anne.”
“I was screaming when I saw Brian Cox’s real wife play Sally-Anne,” wrote someone else.
In the most recent episode, which was the show’s second-to-last, the characters were eager to find out who will get Roy’s huge wealth.
Cox said earlier this year that he and his wife had renewed their wedding vows. “We’d been apart for a while because she was travelling, so we sat down and asked, ‘Where do we go from here?'” Do we stop or do we keep going?’ So we said, “Well, let’s just get married.”
